ARAI RETURN TO INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOW
25 October 2005 - Arai Helmets
After a five year break from the International Motorcycle Show, Arai are returning this year with a range of exciting activities taking place around the show and on their stand –P7.
In addition to launching the 2006 range - which features two brand new models and 8 new replicas including impressive designs for Chris Walker and Leon Haslam - Arai will have their UK Race Service truck parked outside the NEC for the duration of the show. After a busy season attending over 30 events Arai’s race technicians will be on hand to offer service and advice to all their customers. A special first visit to the show will be made by Mitch Arai. Mitch joined the Arai company in 1962 working alongside his father Hirotake, who started the family business in 1937. He has devoted his life to motorcycle safety ensuring that anyone who owns an Arai is in the safest helmet possible. Arai’s commitment to provide ultimate safety will be evident through their sponsorship of the ‘Ride Out’ zone with BSM and Hein Gericke, providing helmets for every participant who will choose their preferred bike and follow a route outside the NEC giving them a chance to try a model from their favourite manufacturer. For visitors to the show who want to experience the perfect fit of an Arai this will be possible on the Arai stand where there will be a full size range from XXXS – XXXL available to try. Visits to the stand from major racing heroes and celebrities including Japanese MotoGP star Shinya Nakano will take place throughout the 10 days and a daily visor changing competition, hosted by Steve Parrish, to win Arai promo goodies will commence at 12.00pm each day. Main stage activity will include the launch of Chris and Leon’s new replicas with both racers discussing the evolution of their designs with Steve Parrish and the presentation of a special Rich Art painted Arai Corsair on Saturday 29th October to the winner of the ‘Design a Stalker replica’ competition recently run in MCN.
