BRITISH SPEEDWAY FIXTURES AND RESULTS
19 October 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

PETERBOROUGH skipper Peter Karlsson has ended the season on the injured list after breaking his collarbone at Wolverhampton.

Karlsson said: ''I was leading going into the first bend but just locked up and spun round. It was a nasty incident and I knew straight away something wasn''t right.
''I thought it was only going to be soft tissue damage, but when I went for an X-ray it showed up the break.''

WOLVERHAMPTON skipper Steve Johnston admits he is facing an uncertain future in British racing. ''Johno'' will head home to Australia next month on the back of a poor year with the Monmore club. He said: ''I really wanted to do well here because Wolverhampton is a great club. I would still like to come back next season, but right now I just don''t know what''s going to happen.''
