NEW BMW RIDER EQUIPMENT REVEALED AT NEC SHOW
19 October 2005 - BMW Motorrad GB
BMW Motorrad UK is preparing to showcase style and sophistication alongside metal chic later this month when brand new products from the 2006 BMW Motorrad Rider Equipment collection are unveiled at this year’s International Motorcycle and Scooter Show.
A brand new textile suit – the Rallye 2 Pro – will be exclusively previewed on the BMW Motorrad stand throughout the International Motorcycle show. As a direct replacement for the popular 2005 Rallye 2, the new Rallye 2 Pro suit is the first BMW Motorrad textile suit to offer enhanced joint protection in a range of areas across the body, thanks to new developed BMW CE-protectors with maximum impact-absorbing properties. New colour schemes have been adopted along with familiar quality BMW Motorrad materials, including a GORE-TEX® inner membrane to give the suit its definitive weatherproofing capabilities and – in conjunction with a scientifically designed venting system – to ensure perfect body comfort irrespective of riding conditions. Available on the BMW stand in blue/grey or black/grey colours, the new BMW Rallye 2 Pro suit is sure to appeal to HP2 riders and GS fans alike. It is expected to be the ‘must-have’ all-year-round suit when it is launched across the BMW Motorrad dealer network next year. Other key new items from the 2006 collection on display throughout the show include new Enduro and Pro Sport Integral helmets, Rallye GS2 boots, ProTouring boots, Boulder jacket and City trousers. The BMW Motorrad stand is number T283 and is located in hall 18 at the NEC, Birmingham. Preview day is Friday 28 October and public days are from Saturday 29 October until Sunday 6 November.
