2006 SUZUKI NEW MODELS - POISED TO SET NEW STANDARDS
17 October 2005 - Suzuki GB PLC

Suzuki is very excited about its all-new model line-up for next year, which heralds the launch of the much-anticipated Suzuki GSR600 middleweight street-fighter;

continues the lineage of the GSX-R range, with the completely up-rated GSX-R600 and GSX-R750, and sees the GSF1200 Bandit much-improved with ABS as standard, new styling and adjustable seat-height.

The GSR600 is the culmination of a programme set in motion a few years ago by the engine and chassis designers at Suzuki Motor Corporation''s headquarters in Hamamatsu, Japan. They wanted to create a sporty motorcycle in which ''modern art meets race technology'' blending style and comfort with high performance and technology and handling that is second-to-none

New versions of the heavyweight Bandit 1200 and 1200SA have also been released.

Both Bandit models have undergone a weight reduction and are set to appeal to a wider audience with the introduction of height adjustable handlebars and seat and improved handling with ABS standardised on all faired models.

Race winning performance is synonomous with the Suzuki GSX-R range. Its heritage is well documented and the legend continues with the introduction of an all-new GSX-R600 and GSX-R750.

Both machines have undergone an aerodynamic makeover with a smaller frontal area, indicators in the mirrors and an exhaust system underneath the bike.

The engines in both models are smaller, lighter and more powerful, changing the overall dimensions of the bikes.
