TOUGH TASK AS TOP TEAM MILDENHALL HIT TOWN

SHEFFIELD PIRTEK PROWLERS v MILDENHALLCONFERENCE TROPHYMONDAY AUGUST 2 – 7.45pm

SHEFFIELD''S youngsters face the mighty Mildenhall Fen Tigers at Owlerton in their latest Conference Trophy clash on Monday (7.45pm). The Prowlers, who have an impressive record of producing youngsters like Ricky Ashworth and Andrew Moore, will be tested to the full as Mildenhall are hotly tipped to win both the trophy and the Conference League. New British Under-21 champion Richie Hawkins leads the Mildenhall threat and he should be at the top of their scorecharts after a host of impressive Premier League outings for Berwick. James Mann is on the comeback trail after a series of shoulder injuries and in Jon Armstrong they have one of the most experienced riders at this level. Sheffield first teamer Ben Wilson will be skipper of the Prowlers side and he is joined by fellow Tigers star in a powerful spearhead. Paul Cooper, who remains the subject of a lot of interest from Premier League clubs chasing his signature, is also included and Luke Priest also returns.
