SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES
26 September 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

KING''S Lynn have attracted several Elite League stars to their Pride of the East meeting at the Norfolk Arena on Wednesday.

Ipswich duo Chris Louis and Kim Jansson are joined by Belle Vue''s Simon Stead, Eastbourne pair Adam Shields and Davey Watt and Coventry''s Billy Janniro and Chris Harris. Stars co-promoter Jonathan Chapman said: ''It''s a quality line-up which should provide us with some great racing.''

HULL fans have been offered a goodwill gesture by Yorkshire rivals Sheffield. Vikings supporters with tickets from their aborted Glasgow match - along with season ticket holders - will be admitted to Sheffield''s Young Shield meeting with Edinburgh at Owlerton this Thursday free of charge. Sheffield chief Neil Machin said: ''It looks as though speedway as an industry has ripped Hull fans off. We can''t have that happening.''
