MARK GARSIDE JOINS H&H MOTORCYCLE DEPT AS PLANS FOR DEDICATED MOTORCYCLE SALES GAIN PACE
16 September 2005 - H & H

Following last March’s appointment of motorcycle legend George Beale to head up its motorcycle sales department, H&H has now added Mark Garside to its growing team of experts.

Mark will advise on vintage, post-war and classic British motorcycles, and provide specialist assistance for BSA (especially Gold Star) and other marques.

Mark’s distinguished history in motorcycles officially began in 1987, when he started the business of Saddleworth Classic Motorcycles, which he has expanded to offer Gold Star and DVLA dating certification, alongside a range of engineering, sales, restoration and spares services. His passion for motorcycles also led him to personally restore an ex-Jeff Smith works Gold Star scrambler, subsequently a star of the Classic Bike Show.

Said Mark: “I’m tremendously pleased to be involved in this exciting new venture, especially with someone of George’s standing in the industry.”

Dedicated motorcycle sales for 2006
Mark’s appointment reflects H&H’s growing commitment to the sale of motorcycles. The next general H&H sale, to be held in Buxton on September 21, will feature 31 bikes - the company’s largest selection of classic motorcycles yet. For 2006, H&H will be instituting dedicated motorcycle sales for the first time. The first of at least three will be at the Mortons Bristol Bike Show in February.

Said H&H Managing Director, Simon Hope: “We’re extremely excited about developing our motorcycle specialist sales next year. In Mark and George, we have an expert team to assist us in that aim.”
