HAWK TO FIELD TRIO OF STARS AT DARLEY MEETING
17 September 2005 - Hawk Kawasaki

Hawk Kawasaki will field three top British Superbike competitors at October''s ''Stars of Darley'' meeting at Darley Moor in Derbyshire.

Regular Hawk Kawasaki Britsh Superbike riders Glen Richards and Dean Thomas will be joined by the winner of last year''s event, and ex-Hawk Kawasaki rider, John McGuinness.

Each of the trio will ride a full British Superbike spec Hawk Kawasaki ZX-10R around the tight 1.5 mile circuit. Reigning Darley Moro lap record holder McGuiness is looking forward to the event, and is excited about returning to the Hawk fold.

''It should be great'' grins the likeable Lancastrian ''I like to doing these special events, and the Hawk bike was mega there last year. Having talked to the boys I know how much it''s improved over the past year. It will be nice to have team mates as well, although they are a bit more used to the bike than me, so I''ll have to hope a little bit of extra circuit knowledge will pay off!''

Hawk Kawasaki team principle Stuart Hicken is also pleased to be attending the meeting.
''I''ve been going to Darley Moor for years, I even planted some of the trees that lead down to the paddock area and so I know the track and the people there well. Last year we won and set the lap record with John, so I thought it would be good to have him back alongside the regular jockeys for the weekend and we''re all looking forward to the event.''

The Stars of Darley meeting will be held on October 1st and 2nd. For more information please go to www.darleymoor.co.uk.
