WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY

WOLVERHAMPTON host the British Under-18 Championship final for a second successive year on Monday night.

The stars of tomorrow will do battle for a prestigious title in the early stages of their promising career. Two under-15 riders, Josh Auty and Ben Taylor, will rub shoulders with riders who have both Conference and Premier League experience. Wolverhampton promoter Chris Van Straaten said: ''Last season''s inaugural staging of the event was a big success and it provided plenty of exciting racing. ''I''m sure this will be no different and I am particularly looking forward to seeing the progress made by Joash Auty who is still only 14!'' Wolves are staging the event on behalf of the British Speedway Promoters'' Association and children will be admitted free. Season tickets are not valid.

Reserves: Charles Wright (Buxton), Sam Hurst (Newport).
