SKIDMARX SCREEN FOR NEW TRIUMPH SPRINT ST
03 September 2005 - Skidmarx
Triumph’s new Sprint ST has been an instant hit with the biking public and is currently number two in the sales charts for Sport/Touring motorcycles.
Now British screen manufacturer Skidmarx have developed a double bubble screen for Sprint ST that will compliment the bike’s racing lines and provide greater protection for the rider at speed. Skidmarx double bubble screens have been developed in conjunction with leading UK race teams, including HM Plant Honda, and the Company previously supplied screens to the Val Moto Triumph Supersport team that was so successful at the 2004 Isle of Man TT. Skidmarx double bubble screens are manufactured in the UK from 3mm acrylic and are designed to directly replace the OE item. The Sprint screen is painted black below the bubble, so that it blends in beneath the body panels and is supplied with 4 extra well nuts, which screw directly into existing holes within the body panels. Choose from clear, light or dark tint SRP £49.95. Skidmarx also offer a wide choice of colours, including bright blue and red, for a £6.00 surcharge. Screen trim can be supplied at a cost of £1.50 per strip. Well nuts (the expanding rubber nuts that hold the screen to the bodywork) cost £5.25 for a pack of 8 and many owners find it worthwhile to replace the OE items when replacing the screen.
