28 August 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

IPSWICH duo Hans Andersen and Pepe Protasiewicz have withdrawn from the Elite League Riders'' Championship at Swindon tonight through injury.

Andersen has a groin injury and Protasiewicz is complaining of a back problem and their places go to British youngsters Simon Stead and David Howe. The news means Ipswich will have no representative in the meeting which starts at 6pm.

LINE-UP: Freddie Lindgren (Wolverhampton), Peter Karlsson (Peterborough), Jason Crump (Belle Vue), David Norris (Eastbourne), Bjarne Pedersen (Poole), Lee Richardson (Swindon), Nicki Pedersen (Eastbourne), Scott Nicholls (Coventry), Billy Hamill (Oxford), Mark Loram (Arena Essex), Simon Stead (Belle Vue), Ales Dryml (Peterborough), Krzysztof Kasprzak (Poole), Greg Hancock (Oxford), Charlie Gjedde (Swindon), David Howe (Wolverhampton).

*The meeting is starts at 6pm and admission prices will be £17 for adults, £12 for OAPs/concessions and £5 for children.
