RORY Schlein insists he has an open mind on next season as he continues to double-up for both Belle Vue and Edinburgh.

He told ClubCall: ''I feel as though I''m improving and anyone with any ambition wants to make a full-time move into the Elite League. ''But I have to be sure I''m ready and I will talk things through with Edinburgh at the end of the season.''

GLASGOW skipper Shane Parker insists his side have what it takes to gain revenge over Reading at Ashfield on Sunday. The Racers have accounted for the Tigers in both the Knockout Cup and Premier Trophy - but this time league points are up for grabs. Parker said: ''I''m sure we can do it. We owe the fans after a poor away performance at Hull and we''re desperate to get the win on Sunday.''

TREVOR Harding is expected to be fit for King''s Lynn''s trip to Hull next weekend after a horrifying crash against Berwick. The Australian youngster released himself from hospital that same night with no broken bones. Stars boss Keith Chapman said: ''It underlines the courage and determination of these riders when all they want to do is get back on a bike as soon as they possibly can.''
