XENA DISC LOCKS NOW THATCHAM LISTED
30 August 2005 - Motohaus Powersports

XENA’s range of British-designed, technologically advanced and patented, disc-lock alarm systems are now Thatcham listed, which means that they will qualify their owners for discounts on their premiums from most major insurers.

The Thatcham security-testing regime is considered to be one of the most rigorous in the world and acts as a model for crime prevention efforts internationally. In order to pass their Category MC3 Mechanical Immobiliser test the lock must be attack resistance to a high level using a comprehensive range of hand-tools as well as being easy to arm and disarm.

Prices start at £59.99 for the Xena XN14, with the XN15 selling for £64.99 and state-of-the-art carbide-reinforced XN18 at £124.99. All can be converted into a 1.5M chain lock by adding the Xena Chain & Claw (also Thatcham listed) priced at £90.

XENA disc locks are crafted to the highest standard to withstand all sorts of attacks but, unlike other locks, they are also loud; each one houses two independent sensors that are in turn linked to an advanced microprocessor that triggers a piercing 110db alarm.

ART in Holland and SRA in France also approve XENA locks, proving the international integrity of their unique patented design & manufacture.

NB The entry level Xena XR1 is not Thatcham listed.
