RED BULL KTM SUPERMOTO JUNIOR EURO CUP 1ST ROUND IN ALPE D’HUEZ

This year Alpe d’Huez presented itself very untypical with changing and cold weather.
From sunny saturday to cloudy and rainy sunday, the young riders had all kind of weather and circumstances, so they had to arrange themselves with that.
Polesetter Hannes Maier said: „The weather is not a problem. The offroad part is in perfect condition, even if it’s wet. And the Metzeler tires have very good grip on the tarmac parts.“ Unlucky for Maier, the young british racer David Jackson grabbed the holeshot and victory in both races. He dominated the races in every situation and is now the leader of the championship. Maier had to fight very hard for his second position in race one and third position in the second race. Dennis Sigloch finished on the third and fourth position and is now placed at the fourth overall position. In the second race, Riccardo Cavazzana was able to improve his fourth place of the first race to the second place. Two points behind Maier, he got the third overall position. With position five and six Angus Heidecke complets the top five. Race 1
