RACERS HEADLINE AT THE CRESCENT OPEN WEEKEND

RIZLA SUZUKI racers John Reynolds and James Haydon were joined by triple BSB Champion Niall Mackenzie at the Crescent Performance Centre last weekend and spent two days meeting fans and signing autographs.

More than 3000 visitors braved bad weather and traffic on Saturday to visit the 15,000sqft Crescent Performance Centre in Verwood, Dorset. On Sunday the good weather saw a crowd of 5000 visit. Retail Director Martyn James said: “2005 was a success with more events and entertainment than ever before.

“Our thanks goes out to all the exhibitors, including Suzuki, Supagard, Canon, Arai, Shell Advance, Front Row Track Days, Dynojet, Bikesafe, Dread, Dainese, Fast Bikes, Express Insurance and Silverstone Circuits. With their help Crescent, Team SUZUKI MotoGP and Rizla Suzuki made it an unforgettable weekend with lots to do for bike fans of all ages.

“I’d just like to remind everyone who enjoyed themselves at the Open Weekend that we are open Monday – Saturday every week of the year and everyone is more than welcome to come back and enjoy our shop and hospitality any time they please. We pride ourselves on updating our special offers in-store regularly, so a return visit is always worth while.”

Andy Webb from Hants won the strong-man competition to hold two Dunlop tyres out from his sides. He clocked an incredible 1m53seconds to ace the competition and win the top prize of 2xVIP passes to Cadwell Park BSB courtesy of Rizla Suzuki. On top of that, the charity auction for Riders for Health raised an impressive £710.
