BENNETTS BABES SET FOR SILVERSTONE APPEARANCE
20 August 2005 - Bennetts British Superbike

The ‘Bennetts Babes’ will be heading for Northamptonshire this weekend to entertain the thousands of motorcycling fans who will descend on Silverstone racetrack for the ninth round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, as the official Bennetts ‘Grid Girls’.

Biking fans from all over the UK will make their way to the high-speed Silverstone circuit on Sunday to watch some of the world’s top riders battle it out for the 2005 Bennetts British Superbike Championship title.

Cheering on the riders and entertaining the supporters will be the ‘Bennetts Babes’; eight girls who won a nationwide search last year by Bennetts, the UK''s number one for motorcycle insurance, to become official Bennetts ‘Grid Girls’ at the thirteen BSB rounds this season.

The ‘Bennetts Babes’ will be out on the grid for Sunday’s race helping supporters pinpoint their favourite rider and fans will also be able to have their picture taken with the gorgeous ladies during the day.

The winning girls were unveiled to the media on press day at the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show last year by former British and World Superbike Champion, Neil Hodgson, and also appeared in their own exclusive 2005 Bennetts Babes calendar.

Kal Samra, Director of Bennetts, said: “The Bennetts Babes have already been a huge hit with bikers and I’m sure the fans will enjoy seeing the winning girls at Silverstone this weekend.”
