BENNETTS ANNOUNCE FORMER BSB STAR TO ATTEND SILVERSTONE

Bennetts, the UK’s number one for motorcycle insurance and official sponsor of the 2005 Bennetts British Superbike Championship, is offering Silverstone race fans the chance to meet former British and World Superbike Champion Neil Hodgson at the circuit next weekend.

Neil Hodgson, who is sponsored by Bennetts, and unveiled their BSB sponsorship in Trafalgar Square, London, earlier this year, will show his support for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship round at Silverstone.

He will hold an open signing session at the Bennetts Mobile Display Unit on race day (Sunday 21st August), at 2pm for one hour.

Neil is taking time out from the AMA Championship in the USA especially to attend Silverstone, and is looking forward to returning to the famous circuit. Neil was the British Superbike Champion in 2000 and has fond memories of racing there in both the British and World Superbike Championships.

Neil said: “Silverstone is a fantastic circuit and I’m sure the Bennetts British Superbike round this weekend will provide great entertainment for all the fans attending. The championship is very competitive this season and I’m sure the fans will be in for a treat as Michael Rutter looks to consolidate his position as Championship leader with only a handful of rounds remaining”.
