CARLO DE GAVARDO WINS RALLYE DOR SERTOES IN BRAZIL

Carlo De Gavardo KTM Rally pilot won again the Rally World Cup in the 450 cc category, securing a second overall position at the Rally dos Sertoes in Brazil, finishing in the city of Goiania.

Acerbis gear rider Carlo was only beaten by Brazilian Jean Azevedo, riding an open class KTM.

Spanish Marc Coma, second placed at the last Dakar, was forced to retire due to a broken gear box already on day three of the cruelling 10-days competition. 4.692 tough kilometers through brazils wide and wild northeast prove that the well organized event found the right place in the rally worldcup calendar, as another very attractive event in latin america.
