READING have been given a major boost with the news that Danny Bird is finally able to get back into action after a broken leg.
Bird has had to postpone his return on a couple of occasions but will now make his comeback against the Isle of Wight next Monday. Promoter Pat Bliss said: ''We''ve waited a few weeks but it''s great to have Danny back, we''ve really missed him.'' EXETER promoter David Short says the club''s fans can assist their fight for a future by turning out in numbers for the rest of the season.
