AMA Motorcycle MX Series: 7th round Lakewood, CO

The newest track added to the outdoor series, Thunder Valley, brought the Red Bull KTM race team one point closer to the lead in the championship chase. Mike Alessi finished fourth overall. He went 6 and 4 in the motos. Mike rode his heart out this weekend and is currently third in points behind Mike Brown and Ivan Tedesco. Nathan Ramsey battled through the first moto with a chipped front tooth from some roost, but the second moto Nate finally had a decent start and finished 11th. Ryan Mills was running 18th in the first moto and with a few laps left, had some bike problems. The second moto Ryan had a crash and gashed himself up, causing him to pull off. Jeff Alessi is still out there on his Red Bull KTM bike learning everything possible from the other guys.
