THE SHERCO ACADEMY TRAINING CAMP TRAVELS TO THE UK
30 July 2005 - Sherco
The UK Sherco importer, Malcolm Rathmell Sport, is pleased to announce that the Sherco Academy, motorcycle trials, training camp will take place on the three days following the UK World Round at Hawkstone Park.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd of August are the days planned for this very successful training camp and the venue is the superb facilities at Back Cowm Quarry, Nr. Rochdale, Lancashire. The head Instructor of the Sherco Training Camp Juan Pons will be in attendance, along with Graham Jarvis and Sam Connor. They will be joined by many of the Sherco Academy riders who will be traveling up from the world championship. There is no age limit but the minimum size bike is the Sherco 80. As this event has been advertised on the Sherco website many of the places have already been taken but there are still a few places left. The only stipulation is that you have to be a Sherco rider!!! Back Cowm Quarry offers some superb facilities, including a snack bar and toilets. They even sell spare parts for the ambitious rider who manages to trash their bike! The Quarry is open for 50 weeks of the year with only the second and fourth Sundays of the month excluded. The normal charge for a day is £5 for adults and £4 for juniors, which is a very good deal. However, the Sherco Training Camp is free for the lucky few who manage to claim one of these places. Overnight parking/camping is available as long as everyone honors the quarries time limits which are: no start up before 9.30 am and after 5 PM. To book your place please contact Malcolm Rathmell Sport on 01423 772885.
