WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY
24 July 2005 - BSR Aerotek

LEAGUE leaders Belle Vue arrive at Monmore Green to face injury-hit Wolves in an important SkyBet Elite League clash on Monday.

Swindon''s Danish World Cup star Charlie Gjedde, one of the most spectacular riders in the league, makes a guest appearance for injured Wolves man Mikael Max. And squad member James Grieves continues at reserve as a replacement for Magnus Karlsson, who is having daily treatment on a shoulder injury. Wolves skipper Steve Johnston said: ''We had a bad defeat up at Belle Vue last week (58-38) and we need to put that right. ''We have to be confident and positive, I''m feeling just a little bit better about things after my last meeting at Coventry and hopefully we can all take it up a level against such a strong team as Belle Vue.''

WOLVES: Charlie Gjedde, Ronnie Correy, Steve Johnston, David Howe, Freddie Lindgren, James Grieves, Krzysztof Pecyna. BELLE VUE: Kenneth Bjerre, Andy Smith, Joe Screen, Jason Lyons, Jason Crump, Rusty Harrison, Simon Stead.
