KAWASAKI SUPERBIKE STAR ROARS INTO FRASER’S
21 July 2004 - Kawasaki

Fraser’s of Gloucester played host to more than 500 visitors and a star-studded Kawasaki line-up recently (July 10/11) at its Bristol Road premises in a belated but magnificent 30th anniversary celebration.

Taking centre stage at the Gloucester dealership was Hawk Kawasaki racer John McGuinness, who followed up his Isle of Man TT success with a maiden podium finish at Brands Hatch in this year’s British Superbike Championship on the injured Glen Richards’ Kawasaki ZX-10R.

Joining John was Pere Riba’s MSS Discovery Racing Kawasaki ZX-6RR and Scott Smart’s Hawk Kawasaki ZX-10R – all were on hand to the joy of many race fans and bike lovers as they flooded through the doors on Sunday morning.

Dealer Principal for Fraser’s, Neal Fraser was delighted by the turn out. Neal said: “It has been a fantastic weekend. Not just because my staff and I had the opportunity to meet John, but also for the public to see what a great range Kawasaki has.”

It was a hobby that took over Neal’s life, though he wouldn’t have had it any other way. Tinkering around with bikes from the age of 15 eventually saw Neal set up Fraser’s in 1971. Kawasaki has played a huge part in his success as has Neal’s desire to provide his customers with total satisfaction ever since.

Neal added: “My priority has always been to make sure the customer is happy, which in turn gives me great satisfaction. Vicky looks after the marketing side of the business which gives us even more potential.”

Glyn Fisher, National Sales Manager for Kawasaki said: “I have known Neal for quite a while now and he puts absolutely everything into his bikes so to spend the weekend talking to the public about his first love was no great hardship for him.”
