NEW FLEXIFORM CE PROTECTORS FROM KNOX

Planet-Knox, the UK’s leading manufacturer of CE protectors, has developed an ultra-flexible replacement CE-protector, to compliment its existing range of after-market hard- and soft- shell CE protectors for motorcyclists.

Knox Flexiform protectors are manufactured from polyurethane, which combines excellent flexibility with high levels of energy absorption. The edges are tapered, to give a comfortable fit and the entire protector is pinhole vented for breathability.

Performance is excellent – Knox Flexiform protectors transmit under 25 KN of energy when tested to current European standards, which is comfortably within the maximum 35KN that is permitted.

Weight has been kept to a minimum as part of the design brief – the Shoulder protectors weigh under 90g and the elbow/knee protectors are approximately 110g, considerably lighter than many OE items.

Knox are reporting substantially increased demand for their aftermarket protectors, which they believe can be explained by significant numbers of people buying used motorcycle clothing on Ebay and upgrading the protectors.

A pair of protectors sell for £12.99 and two sizes are available; Part 41 (Elbow/Knee) measuring 27cm x 19cm and Part 40 (Shoulder) measuring 22cm x 18cm.
