More than 500 visitors, including faces old and new came flooding in to see Peter Extance and his team of staff on Saturday (July 10), celebrating the opening of a brand new motorcycle store – Bournemouth Kawasaki.

It was a sea of Kawasaki Green that took all the plaudits as the champagne corks popped over-head this weekend. 38-year-old Peter from Bournemouth has a successful track record when it comes to supplying motorbikes and was overwhelmed by the turn-out.

A delighted Peter said: “This is a totally new venture that my wife Julie and I are so much looking forward to. We approached the manufacturer recently to supply both the road and off-road bikes in the range, and I couldn’t think of a better manufacturer to retail, especially with the line-up that is now on offer.”

The dealership boasts a brand-new, purpose-built showroom, covering more than 2,500 square feet for the bikes alone, with a further 1,500 square feet dedicated to clothing and accessories for all the latest in Kawasaki sports-wear, street-wear, racing gear and bike accessories for that truly personalised finish.

Peter added: “The turn-out at the weekend was superb, to catch up with old friends, and to see new faces admiring this year’s range was truly unbelievable.

“As expected we had a lot of interest - from Fathers keen to help their son or daughter choose the latest motocross bike, to seasoned bikers asking about the new Ninja ZX-10R. The new zero per cent finance option on the nakeds (*Z750 and Z1000) went down well too and I can see why this is an excellent offer”.
