EVERY MAN''S GARAGE SHOULD BE HIS FORTRESS
26 July 2005 - Datatool (UK) Ltd

Datatool, the UK’s leading manufacturer of motorcycle security, have expanded their range of hard security systems to include a garage door protection system – the Fortress 3.

Statistics show that 80% of motorcycles are stolen from the owner’s home address and over 50% of these from locked garages.

Suitable for virtually all up-and-over garage doors, as well as traditional side hinged doors, the Fortress 3 is as simple to install as it is to use.

The Fortress 3 is supplied with four expansive bolts, which are used to attach the base plate to ground (needs to be concrete) in front of the garage door. The T-Bar, which is manufactured from powder coated steel, slots into place and is secured by a solid steel circular padlock. Fitting time is estimated to take under one hour and illustrated instructions are included.

The padlock itself is hardened steel and is supplied with two flat keys, which operate a 6-pin tumbler lock system.

Once the Fortress 3 is fitted, the security T-bar can be removed in a matter of seconds by un-locking the padlock.

The Datatool Fortress 3 is a highly visible and highly effective deterrent that retails for £70.00 inc. VAT.
