26 July 2005 - Phoenix Distribution (NW) Ltd

Chris Walker will race in front of his home crowd at next weekend’s round 8 of World Superbikes (Brands Hatch) wearing the patriotic St George design on his Arai RX7 Corsair.

Changing from his usual ‘Stalker’ design, the popular rider, who is campaigning this years World Superbike series with the PSG1 Corse team, will wear the St George design for the Brands Hatch round only.

The St George red and white flag design is already offered in the Arai range on the Condor Helmet and is available from Arai’s Five Star dealer network.

Chris started his racing career wearing Arai in 1994 using the brand for 6 years until the end of 2000. This year he returned to the Arai fold and has been using the ‘state of the art’ RX7 Corsair in the WSB series.

Commenting on the above, Chris said “I’m really looking forward to racing in front of my home crowd at Brands and wearing the St George design on my Arai, it looks wicked and I’m hoping it brings me good luck on the day”.

Chris will continue to ride the rest of the season in his usual popular ‘Stalker’ design with a new replica being launched at the International Motorcycle Show in October.
