SHEFFIELD co-promoter Neil Machin believes the Knockout Cup clash with Exeter represents the club''s best chance of silverware. Newport''s Craig Watson deputises for Sean Wilson and ex Aussie Grand Prix star Craig Boyce makes a guest appearance for the Falcons in place of Mark Lemon. Machin said: ''These are massive meetings for us. The league is looking a distant dream so we''re very much up for the cup!'' James Birkinshaw makes a welcome Owlerton return after losing his team place last month to Shane Colvin. Birkinshaw said: ''I can''t wait to get back at it. I love Sheffield, love the fans and love the track and I want to score a load of points. ''I know there will be pressure on me after getting my place back but we''ll be giving it everything we''ve got and I just hope I can help us get a big win to take down to Exeter. ''We''ve all been struggling of late and a good win against Exeter would be a great way for us to get going again.''
