WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY PRESS INFORMATION
20 July 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

WOLVERHAMPTON make their belated first trip of the season to Elite League newcomers Arena Essex on Wednesday (7.45pm).

The previous trips to Purfleet have been washed out so this is a case of third time lucky. Former world champion Mark Loram is expected to ride for the Hammers despite missing Monday''s international match at Wolves with a swollen ankle. Both sides will also be making use of the rider-replacement facility - Arena for Josh Larsen and Wolves for Daniel Nermark - which means certain riders are in for extra outings to cover for injuries. Wolves boss Peter Adams said: ''It looks like ourselves and Poole are pulling well clear at the top of the table but both of us will not become complacent. ''We''re getting down to the vital time of the season when it comes to positions for the play-offs. ''We know there are still a lot of meetings between now and the end of August, not just for us but for all the teams around us.'' ARENA ESSEX: Greg Walasek, Josh Larsen R/R, Kelvin Tatum, Dean Barker, Mark Loram, Leigh Lanham, Paul Hurry.
WOLVES: Mikael Max, Daniel Nermark R/R, Chris Neath, David Howe, Sam Ermolenko, Fredrik Lindrgen, Adam Skornicki.
