SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES
13 July 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

SAM Ermolenko is almost certain to quit full-time racing at the end of this season.

The 1993 world champion has revealed plans for a celebration meeting on the opening night of next season at Wolverhampton - Sunday March 26. He said: ''I may want to do the occasional open meeting here and there, but my days of racing in the league on a full-time basis are coming to a close.''

SEAN Wilson is ready to hand Sheffield a massive boost by declaring himself ready to return to action. Wilson, the inspirational Tigers skipper, is almost certain to make his return from a two-month absence through a shoulder injury when Tigers face Exeter at Owlerton on Thursday.
