FED-UP Ronnie Correy is facing a huge repair bill after writing off a newly-built machine at Poole on Wednesday.
Correy, who was concerned about his dip in form, had built a new bike in a bid to get back in the points. However, an unfortunate clash with home rider Antonio Lindback left him with a completely wrecked machine and it was no suprise that he went on to struggle for the rest of the night. Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten is planning to hold talks with Correy on Monday in a bid to lift his spirits after such a crushing blow. Van Straaten said: ''If we had a meeting on Monday I''m not sure whether Ronnie would ride. That''s how down he feels about things now, everything seems to be going against him. ''At least now he has a break to gather his thoughts, but I honestly feel he is so down about his racing that he would happily take a break if it was possible. ''We all know what Ronnie is capable of, he has done a good job for the team this season, but he just seems to have a downer on everything right now and hopefully he can get back in the points and lift his confidence.'' Wolverhampton''s next action is at Monmore Green on Monday July 18 when they face Eastbourne in an eagely-awaited Elite League clash.
