SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES
07 July 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

EXETER skipper Seemond Stephens has urged the Falcons supporters to turn out in force for Friday''s Premier Trophy semi-final against Workington.

Exeter go into the second leg chasing a massive 29-point deficit - but recently beat the Comets at home by the same margin. Stephens said: ''I hope the crowd don''t give up on the situation because they could play a key part. We still have a chance of going through.''

DANIEL King has declared himself fit to return to action after two weeks out of the saddle with a knee injury. King has been having acupuncture and laser treatment and will make his Ipswich comeback in the local derby against Peterborough. He said: ''The knee feels so much better and I''ve been able to spend plenty of time on my bikes. I can''t wait to get going.''
