WORLD FIRST IN OFF ROAD COMPETITION EXHAUSTS FROM MICRON
11 July 2005 - Micron Performance Exhausts
Micron is the first manufacturer ever to introduce Hydroformed pipework to aftermarket Off Road Competition exhausts.
They have been busy making these improvements to the whole range launched earlier this year and have now completed the development process. Many hours of racing and testing has refined and improved the product even further. The hydroformed stainless steel pipework is formed by high pressure fluid – making the walls ultra thin and extremely light yet highly durable. The process optimises pipe diameter requirements and significantly improves gas flow by smoothing the bends and minimal welding. Aesthetically the pipework is further enhanced by Micron’s unique satin effect finish – the ultimate in good looks as demanded by discerning riders. The range of exhausts for Off Road bikes, Supermoto and Quad bikes are giving substantial power increases over standard systems and are genuinely race legal at 98dBA. This has been made possible by the hydroformed pipework and the tapered baffle technology within the can, optimising gas flow and power whilst allowing controlled gas dispersion. The systems consist of hydroformed stainless steel pipework and a silencer in a choice of Stainless steel or Titanium finish. A full system including pipework and silencer starts at £294.98 inc. vat for the stainless option, and £394.98 for the Titanium option. The weight saving from the Hydroformed pipes is quite dramatic with each full system and silencer much lighter than standard. Riders will certainly feel the benefit of the improved gas flow and this sort of weight saving. Customers should contact Micron sales on Tel: 01773 876333, Fax: 01773 876331 or email: sales@extechuk.co.uk for more information.
