Heli Bar replacement handlebar systems are now available in the UK through Bykebitz.
Heli Bar replacement handlebar systems are now available in the UK through Bykebitz. The Hampshire-based retailer specialises in importing high quality products from the USA and selling direct to the public, thus keeping prices down by cutting out the middleman. Heli Bars have a well-earned reputation for providing the sport motorcycle rider with better handling, ergonomics, and greater long distance comfort, without distracting from sport riding excitement. By removing some weight from the hands and wrists, Heli Bars rotate the neck, shoulders, and lower back into much more relaxed, more vertical riding position. The goal of the company is to help you ''Keep the sportbike and lose the discomfort.'' Two types of bars are produced. Replacement clip-on type bars, which tend to be taller, wider and rear-set. Most popular sports and touring motorcycles are covered, e.g Kawasaki ZX-10R and Suzuki SV1000, which sell for £199.00 inc. VAT. The other option is MultiTour Sport [MTS], which are high tech bar risers. All Helibars are direct replacements for the original and are designed to be fitted without replacing cables and hoses, (replacements are supplied in cases when this is unavoidable). All Heli products are offered with a one-year warranty on all materials and workmanship. Yamaha FJR1300 2003-05 Helibars - Aluminium These MTS adjusters install beneath the stock bars and raise them 1'' (25mm.) By offsetting the bar remount location back, out and rotating the bolt pattern, the hand grips are repositioned 1 3/4'' closer to the rider. All stock cables and hydraulic lines are retained. Includes all hardware necessary for installation. Manufactured from machined aluminium the FJR1300 Helibars sell for £79.00 including VAT at 17.5%.
