SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES
02 July 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

SIMON Stead makes his Championship of Great Britain Final debut at Oxford on July 10 -and he has a point to prove.

The Belle Vue rider admits he will be looking to impress the watching British boss Neil Middleditch. He said: ''It''s nice to be involved. I had a decent meeting at Oxford earlier in the year so I just want to go there and do well.''

EASTBOURNE reserve Andrew Moore insists he has no regrets about making a full-time move into the Elite League. Moore resisted the temptation to double up with a Premier League track after leaving Sheffield during the winter. He said: ''Things are slowly improving for me after a very hard start in the main body of the team. I like it here at Eastbourne and I have no regrets.''
