GREAT Britain boss Neil Middleditch has named his squad for the World Cup which starts at Swindon on July 31.
Coventry''s Scott Nicholls has been named captain and Rye House youngster Edward Kennett has been handed a place. Middleditch said: ''I believe we have the riders capable of making a serious challenge. All the guys are in on merit and there is still time to influence my thoughts.'' SQUAD: Scott Nicholls , Lee Richardson, Mark Loram, David Norris, Simon Stead, Joe Screen, Chris Louis, Chris Harris, David Howe, Gary Havelock, Edward Kennett. MILDENHALL have swooped to sign talented young Australian Joel Parsons. Parsons is a direct replacement for Aidan Collins who is joining Workington and makes his Tigers debut this weekend. He will also continue to ride for Premier League Hull. Boss Mick Horton said: ''Make no mistake this is a massive signing for Mildenhall and proof that we aim to be up with the best in the Conference League this season.''
