Arlen Ness clothing has achieved a high profile on the racetrack, thanks to the efforts of riders of the calibre of Neil Hodgson and Gregorio Lavilla, but the Company produces stunning garments for the road rider too.

Their 2599 Jacket is designed with touring & long haul commuting in mind. The outer shell is manufactured in abrasion resistant Cordura, which has been reinforced with Balistik fabric at the shoulders and elbows. There are two ultra reflective Reflex stripes running around the arms and back BUT these appear to be dark grey in natural light, only reflecting back light in the dark.

Inside the jacket is a waterproof Micro-Dry waterproof & breathable liner, while CE certified protectors are fitted at the shoulders & elbows.

Climate control is provided via vents on the chest, which are closed with sealed ‘dry’ zips. Inside in a removable quilted vest complete with sleeves and a selection of pockets for ‘phone, wallet, passport, cigars, etc.

As with all Arlen Ness garments, the finish is superb. The collar is lined with neoprene, there is adjustment on the waist, cuffs, hem, arms and chest and the metal press-studs have the Arlen Ness shield moulded into them.
