SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES
22 June 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

THE final four contenders for the Championship of Great Britain Final have been confirmed following Sunday''s abandoned qualifier at Newcastle.

The SCB have ruled that the result from Brough Park will be declared as at the end of Heat 8 when all riders had taken two outings. That means Chris Harris, Andrew Moore, David McAllan and James Grieves have places in the Final at Oxford with Glenn Cunningham reserve.

GLASGOW have signed British youngster Adam Roynon on loan from Coventry to complete their new-look line-up. Roynon will be one of two Tigers debutants in next Wednesday''s Cup clash at Hull, with young Dane Leon Madsen also making his first appearance. Glasgow co-promoter Alan Dick said: ''We have been keeping tabs on Adam, and we are sure that he will benefit from his time at Ashfield.''

EXETER manager Graeme Gordon has stressed that he does not anticipate making any changes to the Falcons line-up at this stage. Gordon was upset with his team''s display in a recent defeat at Somerset, but has refuted suggestions that he is to wield the axe. He said: ''We need to maintain continuity, and just need to build up confidence in one or two places. We don''t need to make more changes.''
