ELITE League leaders Poole were edged out in the last heat at Coventry in a dramatic televised meeting.
Andreas Jonsson starred for the Bees with a sequence of thrilling wins, and then combined with Scott Nicholls for a match-winning 5-1 in Heat 15. Coventry boss Peter Oakes said: ''It was a terrific battling performance all round because we had a lot of things go against us.'' BERWICK have maintained their excellent start to their Premier League campaign with an away win at Reading. The Bandits raced into an early 14-point lead and withstood a fightback from the home team to notch a 49-44 win. Berwick boss Peter Waite said: ''It is team work which gets us results like this, and it was simply superb to work with all seven in the pits.''
