WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY
21 June 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

THE POLES were to the fore at Monmore Green on Monday evening as Wolves cruised to a comfortable 55-41 win over Peterborough.

Adam Skornicki enjoyed an excellent return to the club as he top-scored with paid 13, and Krzysztof Pecyna continued his rapid progress with a four-ride paid maximum at reserve. Not surprisingly, the Panthers'' main threat came from Wolves asset Peter Karlsson who dropped just one point but Ales Dryml, the man who has starred with Karlsson this season, endured a nightmare evening and failed to score from five rides. The result will give Wolves confidence of claiming another aggregate bonus point when the teams meet at the Showground later in the season.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Adam Skornicki 12+1, Krzysztof Pecyna 11+1, Mikael Max 11+1, Magnus Karlsson 7+1, Steve Johnston 5+2, Fredrik Lindgren 5, Ronnie Correy 4+1.

PETERBOROUGH: Peter Karlsson 17, Lukas Dryml 10+1, Sam Ermolenko 8, Henning Bager 4, Ritchie Hawkins 2+1, Ales Dryml 0, rider replacement for Joonas Kymlakorpi.
