BATTISTINIS OPEN ITALIAN OFFICE

Leading motorcycle customisers and distributors Battistinis are expanding their operation further still by establishing a dedicated Italian office in the North of Italy.

Italian sales manager Angelo Ganassi has been working from Battistinis head office in the UK for three years will run the Italian operation. He said, ‘working in the UK has been great for me to establish the Italian market and build up a core base of customers, but the timing is now right to move over to Italy where I can service existing customers better and also build up the market by actually being there and visiting customers’.

Managing Director Mark Battistini said, ‘our Italian customers are an important part of our customer base and we know that by having a base in Italy, we will be able to provide them with an even better service plus they won’t have any language difficulties’!

The Italian arm of Battistinis will be fully operational by the end of May 2005 and will service the whole of the Italian market from their base in Milan. Customers will place orders through this office and all the goods will be despatched from here, which will offer a smoother service and make the whole operation more cost effective for the customer.
