AEROTEK UNIVERSAL ENGINE BOLT KIT FOR DUCATIS
British performance specialists BSR-Aerotek have introduced a handy pack that contains sufficient stainless steel bolts to fit most popular models of Ducati with a few extra for spares or to help a mate out. The bolts, approximately 95 in total, are all A2 grade stainless steel, which is well suited to use on motorcycles, as it contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Stainless steel must contain at least 10.5 % chromium, the element that prevents ''staining'' (rusting) the surface. Higher levels of chromium improve the corrosion resistance of the stainless material. In addition to the bolts the kit contains an Allen key and tube of copper lubricant – everything you’ll need to do a proper job. The Ducati Universal Engine Kit in stainless steel retails for £24.99 inc. VAT and contains 31 bolts & cup washers. NB BSR-Aerotek also offer bolt kits in imperial sizes for classic bikes.
