SACHS 125CC PRICES SLASHED
28 May 2005 - SACHS Bikes

Significant price reductions offered on 125cc models

In a bold move to establish Sachs as a serious competitor in the buoyant 125cc sales sector, the UK Importer has announced significant price reductions to their 125cc models, the XTC 125 and X-Road 125 , so that UK customers will be able to buy these machines for less than £3,000 on the road.

The XTC 125 has been described by the press as “one of the best-looking 125s about” and with an OTR price reduced by £800 to just £2,999 this German motorcycle offers a serious alternative to Honda’s diminutive CBR125R, the current leader in learner motorcycle market sector. With big bike styling and feel, under-seat exhaust system and 316mm front disc brake, with four-piston calliper, the XTC125 is an aspirational machine for many learners, but at its original selling price of £3,799, had proved to be unattainable for many younger riders on tight budgets.

Meanwhile the OTR price of the off-road styled X-Road 125 has been dropped by £700 to £2,799 , bringing it close to the price to Japanese 4-stroke trail-styled bikes and making it substantially less costly than popular 2-stroke models.

Both machines combine renowned German build quality with the mechanical reliability of a Japanese power plant, in this case a Suzuki 4-valve, 4-stroke engine.
Alongside big bike looks and feel, buyers also get the reassurance of a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
