HYDRATECH RACE PIPEWORK FOR ’05 KAWASAKI ZX6R FROM MICRON

Micron have launched their fully Hydroformed Race pipework for the ’05 Kawasaki ZX6R which completes their portfolio of Micron products for the bike with the new firing order of the engine.

The stainless steel pipework is a 4:2:1 construction which maximises the midrange and top end power. Both the pipes and collectors benefit from the hydroforming technique making the gas flow fast and smooth. The power increase over the standard pipework is around 7bhp and any dips at mid range are smoothed out. The pipework will retail in the UK for £499.99 Inc vat and there is a choice of race silencer in Stainless Steel, Titanium or Micron’s Ultralite Titanium.

Micron’s Serpent Hydratech race systems is the only aftermarket pipework available which is fully hydroformed the whole length of the pipes and has been paramount in helping many top race teams achieve success on the track. It is the ideal choice for serious racers who want the ultimate in mid range and top end power with a considerable weight saving. Made from 304 stainless steel – and blown to a very thin wall the unique pipework is highly durable both on and off the track.
