III RIVERS HARLEY-DAVIDSON READY TO RUMBLE IN WATFORD
12 May 2005 - Harley-Davidson UK
The official Harley-Davidson dealership for Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire and North London is putting itself on the map as it launches as III (Three) Rivers Harley-Davidson on 28 May.
With a huge opening party planned at the gigantic dealership, all the team are looking forward to welcoming thousands of people at the Pinner Road, Bushey store. And in case you need an excuse to party with the world’s most famous motorcycle manufacturer, III Rivers are offering three chances to win a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle! On top of this, the party will include live music with three bands (including The Lee Ryder Band, Europe’s premier Blues band), food and refreshments, demo rides on the latest Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles, a ride-in custom bike show, fun with fake tattoos or real tattoos for the older ones, and 20% off everything in store for that day only (excluding motorcycles naturally). Plus, all Harley-Davidson and Buell riders that book their motorcycle in for a future service on the day of the party will also receive a huge 20% discount (including labour charges). Paul Lamar, one of the new owners and managing director at III Rivers said; “We are pouring our heart and soul into this new venture, and we want to make a great impression from the word go. It’s going to be an amazing party, and me and my team are looking forward to it immensely. “We’ve got a host of promotions and incentives going on, so if you want the chance to win one of three Harleys, come along! Over the coming year I look forward to sharing with as many people as possible just how good the Harley-Davidson experience can be.” III Rivers is also one-of-a-kind. Paul Lamar, Stacey Ball and Julie Pearce, who have been staff at the dealership for the past 3 years, have such a passion for the Harley-Davidson brand, that they have pooled their resources to purchase the franchised dealership from its former owner, J.R Tagger. The only other time in Harley-Davidson’s history that a story like this occurred, was in 1981 when 13 executives of the board at Harley-Davidson Motor Co., including Willie G. Davidson and Jeff Bleustein, pooled their resources to buy the famous brand from its owner at the time, American Machine and Foundry (AMF).
