BMW’S K1200 R AT ACE CAFÉ
11 May 2005 - BMW Motorrad GB

BMW’s impressive new K1200 R naked roadster will be on show for the first time in England at a special event hosted by the Ace Café on the outskirts of London on Sunday 15 May.

BMW’s new 163 bhp machine has just been launched to the international press and received rave reviews in last week’s edition of Motor Cycle News. Labelled as a ‘naked’ version of the K1200 S superbike, the K1200 R is currently the most powerful naked production bike available.

The Ace Café event is a special day for BMW motorcyclists and a chance to see the latest models from the BMW range, including the new 167 bhp K1200 S superbike, R1200 GS and R1200 ST, plus many more.

Charley Boorman, who last year circumnavigated the globe with friend Ewan McGregor on BMW R1150 GS Adventures, will also be on hand to talk to fans about his Long Way Round journey and his future motorcycling projects, including his plans for the Dakar rally.

The Ace Café has been a hot spot for motorcyclists over the years. It has hosted many biking events and has become famous among the motorcycle fraternity.

The Ace Café is located at the junction of Beresford Avenue and the old North Circular Road, which runs parallel with the New Circular Road, between the A40 and the A404 (Harrow Road). Call the Ace Café London on 0208 961 1000 or World of BMW on 08000 131 282 for more information.
