BABY BIKER THE MOTORCYCLE CHILDWEAR SPECIALIST HAS APPOINTED PLASMA PROMOTIONS AS ITS PR AND MARKETING AGENCY. The appointment of PLASMA PROMOTIONS is to promote the growth of BABY BIKER’S business as its range of products continues to expand and it moves into wholesaling. BABY BIKER has been supplying top quality children’s motorcycle clothing since 1990, when the initial range was launched by proprietor TANIA WINTERBURN, following a visit to a motorcycle show where she wanted to purchase a motorcycle related present for her son and found very little was available. BABY BIKER moved to larger premises five-years ago and launched a proactive web site in 2000. TANIA comments: “The company has spent 13-years getting the range right. We have a very demanding clientele, not only do we have to please the children but the parents as well. “From listening to customers we have been able to create a range through the eyes of the people that use it”. BABY BIKER has now launched a second brand: ‘SPEED DEMON’. “The idea behind SPEED DEMON is to give the range more street cred” said TANIA. “Young adults want something that gives them a feeling of what is involved, so using the BABY BIKER name on clothing for teenagers just did not suit the image.” BABY BIKER has now launched a trade and wholesaling facility offering dealers the chance to stock a whole new range of products and open up their stores to a new customer base. Dealers can get up to 50 per cent discount on the range, if they become a stockist. Currently BABY BIKER has 15 dealers throughout the UK and this is supported by the website, where a dealer can order one product for its customer, if it doesn’t want to be a stockist.
