GET CROSS, NOT HURT!
03 May 2005 - Planet Knox Ltd

Planet Knox, the UK’s leading manufacturer of impact protection for motorcyclists, have launched the Cross Sport, billed as the ultimate safety shirt.

The Cross Sport is designed for use across a range of sports, including motorcycling on road, dirt and track, mountain biking, snow boarding, roller-blading, etc.

The Cross Sport Shirt is as versatile as it is protective thanks to its unique modular design, which enables to owner to wear the protectors in up to 10 combinations.

It is based around a durable and highly breathable stretch mesh shirt, which has integral CE-approved shoulder guards. To this can be added elbow guards, a full-length back-protector and chest protector, all of which are also fully tested and CE-approved. Possible combinations could be;

· Motocross/enduro – full kit.

· Track day – back & chest protectors, worn under leather suit.

· Road riding/touring – back protector only.

· Mountain biking – shirt + elbow guards.

Knox have paid great attention to comfort. For example, the back protector is light (at just 600g) and has a Coolmax + anti-bacterial backing, to keep the wearer cool & dissipate sweaty odours. The need for speed has also been recognised, so the back protector can be unbuckled in seconds, the chest protector is attached with quick release buckles and the elbow guards can be swiftly un-zipper or re-attached.

The Cross Sport Shirt is produced in sizes XS – XXL and retails for £149.99 inc. VAT.
