STUART Robson has thanked everyone who made his Testimonial meeting at Brandon on Sunday a great success. The partnership of Chris Harris and Steve Johnston won the Best Pairs event which marked Robson''s ten years as a Coventry asset. Robson said: ''I would like to thank everyone for a great day. The response from the public was fantastic.''
STOKE promoter Dave Tattum regarded the club''s staging of the Conference League Fours on Saturday as a success. Mildenhall triumphed in front of a good crowd with the home riders suffering mechanical trouble in the Final which dented their challenge. Tattum said: ''I thought it went fairly well despite the weather and referee Graham Flint did a great job to get 24 heats completed in the time he did.''
