SHIP TO SHAW Hosting the first round of the national Best Harley-Davidson competition, with live music and refreshments at the Yacht Bar and Restaurant, the evening promises to be a hive of entertainment. With some of the ultimate examples of custom machines built by owners of the world-famous marque on display, Shaw has invited Sussex’s very own BBC South East weathergirl, Kaddy Lee-Preston to help in the judging of the competition; deciding who goes on to the next round in the hope of winning a trip to California and a brand new VRSCA V-Rod – courtesy of Harley-Davidson. The evenings are held on the first Tuesday of every month, with the next on May 3. Open to anyone interested in Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles, whether a rider or not, the events will be a meeting place for like-minded people to come together and celebrate motorcycling with good food, music and great company. The evening starts at 7.30 and motorcycle parking is free. You can enter your Harley-Davidson into the competition by calling Shaw on 01825 872003, or alternatively you can turn up and enter on the night.
